Perineal hernias after APR are a challenging problem with a variety of techniques described to repair them. This video reviews technical considerations, decision making algorithm for staged repairs, and highlights how permanent mesh reinforcement of the repair can be used in combination with biologic mesh when autologous tissue is not available for coverage.
