Incisional lumbar hernias after spine exposure are relatively common. This video reviews MIS approach to management of these hernias. The video highlights strategies for circumferentially dissection, defect closure, and mesh positioning/fixation. The patient was placed in lateral decubitus position to facilitate access to the defect and the retroperitoneal dissection.
