Scrotal hernias can result in distortion of retroperitoneal anatomy. Rarely, the ureter can be involved in large scrotal hernias. This video reviews a case of a patient presenting with chronic obstructions and stenosis of the ureter. A hernia repair with concurrent ureteral resection was performed. We highlight case planning and strategies to assure efficient collaboration among general surgeons and urologists.
