Occult hernias can be a source of chronic pain. This video highlights the management of an occult obturator hernia in a patient with chronic groin pain. They had been evaluated by multiple surgical specialists who recommended against any procedures. MRI was obtained, demonstrating a small obturator hernia. Following uneventful repair, chronic pain symptoms fully resolved.
