Chronic postoperative inguinal pain is an unfortunate outcome for patients after inguinal hernia repair. In select patient, mesh explantation is indicated. This video reviews a case of bilateral mesh explantation, specifically focusing on dissection strategies related to management of the peritoneal flap, the cord elements, and how to efficiently remove the prosthesis.
