Abandonment of sac is an option for scrotal hernias. This technique raises concerns for large seromas that may require postoperative interventions. This video reviews an operation performed on patient presenting with an incarcerated scrotal hernia involving the colon and omentum. Following reduction of hernia and sac abandonment, the distal sac was fixated to the lateral side wall to reduce seroma potential and increase mesh-tissue apposition.
