Inguinal Hernia 16 Abandon the Sac

#HERNIAGEEKSMinimally invasive approaches to inguinoscrotal hernias can result in damage to the cord structures if the hernia sac is improperly managed. Nerve injuries and ischemic orchitis have been described. Primary abandonment of the hernia sac is a novel approach to managing these hernias, with an aim to reduce manipulation of the cord elements. This video reviews my current approach, and highlights nuances to performing this technique.
