Cholecystectomy is commonly performed for patients. Traditional approaches have incisional scars that are in the central abdomen. For select patients, a robotic approach with lower trocar locations can allow for many of these scars to be hidden below the waistline. This video reviews case set up and highlights some intraoperative elements to elective cholecystectomy.
