Overview
Complex and atypical hernias can arise from iatrogenic abdominal wall injuries. This video reviews a recent case of a patient who had a lower abdominal hernia after orthopedic interventions to address a pelvic fracture. Avulsion of bilateral rectus muscles was noted and there were dense adhesions of the bladder to the pubis.
