No need to have FOMO, in this episode from the Endocrine Surgery team at Behind the Knife, we review key abstract presentations from the meeting. We discuss the strengths and limitations of the studies, and how the results translate to clinical practice. Specifically, we go into screening and surgery for primary hyperparathyroidism after a diagnosis of nephrolithiasis, and the role of prophylactic central lymph node dissection, radioactive iodine, and radiofrequency ablation for papillary thyroid carcinoma.
