COL (ret) George E. Peoples, MD, FACS recently retired from 30 years of active duty as a surgeon and research scientist in the military. He is the Founder and Director of Cancer Insight as well as the Cancer Vaccine Development Program (CVDP).
On this podcast we talk with Dr. Peoples after giving grand rounds to discuss his past and current work in cancer vaccines development. He explains his research in way sothe new medical student to a veteran researcher can understand. He also gives great advice in gettingresearch started and overcoming the inherent barriers to research.
